Episode Description:

The most life affirming book ever written about death” - Sandi Toksvig.

Good Grief is a book written by journalist and co-founder of the Women's Equality Party Catherine Mayer, and her mother Anne Mayer Bird, after they became widows a mere 41 days apart from each other. Having gone from losing the loves of their lives and being widowed, straight into the first lockdown, they candidly discuss their personal journeys with Lynne. Sharing what they learned, and offering very practical ways to cope, this episode goes into the realities of dealing with circumstances brought on by death such as the amount “sad-min” , but also offers insight into the love that can be found and celebrated after such tragic loss.
